Hingham Public Schools Educational Forum The six Hingham PTOs are sponsoring an Educational Forum on Wednesday, January 31st at 7pm at Hingham Middle School. Dr. Galo, the school Principals and the Director of Student Services will answer questions from parents and the community about Hingham Public Schools.
SAVE THE DATE - Special Presentation Dr. Elizabeth Englander, Professor of Psychology and Director of the Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center (MARC) at Bridgewater State University, will provide a presentation to parents and educators on bullying, cyberbullying, and social media use. The event will take place at Hingham High School on Wednesday, February 7th at 7pm and is being funded by the Hingham High School and Hingham Middle School PTO's. Mini Grant Update The PTO Mini-Grant Committee is pleased to announce that they have awarded $5,875 to teacher requested grants. Show How Much You Appreciate Your Teacher Award HMS and HHS students are encouraged to write an essay, poem or thank-you letter explaining how a teacher has influenced his/ her life. Entries are 500 words or less and are due by March 1. Sponsored by Barnes & Noble. Regional winners will receive a $500 B&N gift card, the winning teacher and school will receive $5,000 each.
